Dragon Heart theme, Fairy Tales in general

Below is one of my all-time favourite music pieces..Its from the movie DragonHeart which is about a dragonslayer, Bowen and the last dragon on earth, Drako..

Below are some important dialogues to give some sense of the story, and enjoy the music a bit more -

Bowen: I no longer try to change the world, dragon, I just try to get by in it.
Draco: Yes, well, it's better than death, I suppose.
Bowen:Oh, is it? I should think you'd welcome death. You know, the last of your kind, all of your friends dead, hunted wherever you go...
Draco: Do you delight in reminding me? Yes knight, I do long for death, but, fear it.
Bowen: Why? Aside from your misery, what's to lose?
Draco: My soul.

Draco - "Long ago, when man was young and the dragon already old, the wisest of our race took pity on man. He gathered together all the dragons, making them vow to watch over man, always. And at the moment of his death, the night became alive with those stars [the constellation Draco]. And thus was born the Dragons' Heaven. But when we die, not all dragons are admitted to this shining place. No, we have to earn it. And if we don't, our spirit disappears as if we never were."

Importance of Fairy Tales -
From the 1989 article on child psychology - Taming the wild things - Maurice Sendak and child psychology -
In looking at literature for children, Bettleheim was deeply dissatisfied with preprimers and primers designed to teach necessary skills, irrespective of meaning, or with other child literature designed to entertain, irrespective of substance. To Bettleheim, nothing can be as enriching and satisfying to the child as fairy tales because they deal with inner problems of human beings and with useful solutions to their predicaments.
I suspect some dosage of fairy tales, from time to time, is required for 'adults' as well.
